Retail Fireworks

Buying fireworks can be a minefield (forgive the pun). There's so many brands and different types - which ones are best?

Our company aim is to give the best value on fireworks that we would want to use ourselves when friends come round.

Always choose fireworks that, like ours, are BS7114 compliant. If you see any that aren't then not only are they illegal but they are probably untested and dangerous.

The law sets down certain limits on retail fireworks and one good example is that the maximum overall weight for a cake is 10kg. So what? Well, if you're paying for a 1000 shots then it means you've got a lot of weight in just cardboard and padding with less left over for effects.

Some of our cakes have over 2kg of gunpowder in them - roughly twice that of the high street brands!
